Abandoned Well and Manhole Location

Over the years soil elevations change. These changes can cover monitoring wells, clean outs, utility boxes, manhole covers and water wells for residential or farming. The loss of such items can be costly to replace.

Fortunately, Four Oaks is able to scan areas using magnetics to identify these metallic structures. For utility boxes or manhole (depending on the type of utility), the location box can sometimes be identified by tracing the utility with induction electromagnetics (IEM) followed by a Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) survey along the located utility.
