Four Oaks Geophysics uses a Geometrics G-858 Cesium vapor magnetometer. This system integrates GPS coordinates into the collected data to provide field maps of the collected data with sub-meter accuracy. The sensitivity of this equipment allows for small features such as buried wells or small amounts of buried ferric metals to be identified over a large survey area.

However, due to the sensitivity, this equipment is best used in open fields, away from overhead power lines or other urban structures.
