Induction and Transmission

Four Oaks Geophysics utilizes two types of electronic utility locators(EULs): Radio Detection 8100 (RD8100) and the Pipe Horn HL. This combination of EULs provides Four Oaks with the ability to locate live power utilities and induce trace wires, cable, or metal piping. Multiple frequencies allows Four Oaks field personnel to isolate wires in congested areas as well as transmit a signal over a long distance.
